Location & Getting AroundWhere exactly is Carlsbad Vacation Rental located? We're in a quiet residential neighborhood in Carlsbad, California, just one block from the beach and a short walk from Carlsbad Village. The location puts you within walking distance of the sand and downtown dining while keeping you out of the noise of the busier tourist strips — the best of both.
How far is the property from the beach? The beach is just a one-block, two-to-three-minute walk from the front door. Many of our guests walk down with our beach chairs and wagon in the morning and are back for lunch.
How far is Carlsbad Village and State Street dining? Carlsbad Village and the State Street restaurants are about a 10 to 15-minute walk — an easy, flat stroll through a quiet neighborhood, or a scenic walk along the beach. You won't need to drive to dinner.
Can I get around Carlsbad without a car? Yes, for most of your trip. The beach, Carlsbad Village, restaurants, coffee shops, and the farmers market are all within walking distance. You'll only want a car for day trips to LEGOLAND, the Flower Fields, or farther down the coast to La Jolla — and there's dedicated parking on-site for it.
Is there parking? The parking is incredibly accommodating, as we don’t offer parking in the driveway, there is more than enough street parking to go around.

Because the units sit on the same maintained property, groups can book multiple units and stay together while keeping their own private space.
Can I book the whole property for a big group or retreat? Yes. The full estate sleeps a large group across 7 bedrooms with multiple living spaces — a popular choice for multigenerational family vacations, friend groups, and small retreats that want privacy plus room to gather.
Do you provide beach gear and a stocked kitchen? Yes. Units come with beach chairs and a wagon, and the kitchens are stocked with appliances, cookware, and dishes — guests consistently mention being able to cook in and walk to the sand without hauling gear from home.
Trips & Who It's ForHow far is LEGOLAND from the property? LEGOLAND California is about a 10–15 minute drive. That makes us a convenient, quieter home base for families doing LEGOLAND who'd rather not stay in a hotel right at the park.
What attractions are nearby? Within a short drive you'll reach LEGOLAND California, the Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch, Carlsbad Premium Outlets, Tamarack Beach, the Batiquitos Lagoon trails, and Oceanside Harbor. Carlsbad Village's shops, cafés, and farmers market are walkable, and La Jolla and Torrey Pines make easy coastal day trips.
Is this a good place for a family vacation? Very much so. We're built for families — walkable to the beach, full kitchens for easy meals, beach chairs and a wagon included, multiple unit sizes, and a quiet neighborhood that's easy with kids. We're close to LEGOLAND and the Flower Fields without the price and noise of staying right at the attractions.
Is it good for couples or a quiet weekend? Yes. The studio and 1-bedroom cottage are ideal for couples — private, comfortable, and walkable to beach mornings and Village dinners, with a calm residential setting instead of a crowded resort.
Can I stay here for remote work or a business trip? Yes — it's well suited to remote work and extended professional stays. You get a residential, home-style space instead of a hotel room, a quiet neighborhood for focused workdays and better sleep, and a walkable break to the beach or a café between calls. North County San Diego's main roads are close for commuting.
Booking & PoliciesDo you offer monthly or extended-stay rentals? Yes. We offer reduced rates for longer stays, with discounts starting at 7+ nights and special monthly rates — a comfortable fit for remote-work trips, snowbird season, relocations, and extended family visits, with the feel of a real home rather than a hotel.
What is the minimum stay? Our minimum stay is 2 nights.
How does check-in work? Check-in is fully keyless and contactless. Once your home is ready, you're emailed a unique entry code — yours alone — that lets you come and go for your stay and automatically resets after you check out. There's no front desk, no key handoff, and no waiting around to get in.
Are pets allowed? We're a pet-free property. We keep it that way to maintain a luxurious standard and to stay comfortable for guests with allergy sensitivities. We do, of course, fully comply with all laws and regulations regarding service animals.
